Welcome to a fabulous new school year!

 

Hello Monarchs!

 

I'm Mrs. Wallace, the school librarian. I can't wait to see all of you here in the library!

This school year is my 11th year here, sharing my love for books, imagination, creativity and art with all of our wonderful students. My goal is to make the library where there is something for everyone to develop the love of lifelong learning. 

Students will visit the library with their class weekly. Please go over how to take care of library books with your child to avoid paying fines for damaged/lost books.

We have online reading resources available to all students in the district - Soraapp.com and Destiny Discover also has e-books that are accessible by using district logins.

I host several creative events throughout the year - find out about them through our weekly school newsletter.

I can't wait to see all of you!

Do you love art? Let's make some art!

Get yourself a sketchbook or some kind of book to draw in. I'll post prompts here every month. Draw in your sketchbook and do something creative every day with me!

You don't have to sign up - just be on the look out for special Art Club activities that I'll share in the Weekend Monarch and here on my webpage!
