Hello!

Welcome to 5th grade! I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher this year and can’t wait to get to know each of my students and their families.

This is my 15th year of teaching, and I’ve been fortunate to teach Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade. Each grade level has brought its own special memories, and I’m thrilled to begin another wonderful year of learning and growing together.

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family and friends. You can usually find us camping, relaxing at the beach, exploring the desert, or enjoying time by the river.

The greatest joy of teaching is the relationships I build with my students and their families. I truly believe that when children feel seen, supported, and encouraged, they can accomplish amazing things. Watching students grow, not only academically, but also socially and emotionally, is the most rewarding part of what I do.

My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, challenged, and excited to learn. I look forward to partnering with you throughout the year to help your child reach their full potential and to make this a fun, successful, and memorable 5th-grade experience.
