My name is Cindy Hanson and I am thrilled to be your child's second grade teacher this year!  I have been teaching for 30 years, ten years in Kindergarten, four in 1st grade, and fifteen in 2nd grade.   Second graders are so ready, eager, and capable to learn everything and keep me constantly on my toes. I feel so lucky to be at such an amazing school and to have the opportunity to enrich and bring out that creative side of your child, and of course, do it with H.E.A.R.T. 

I have been married to my husband, John, for 30 years and we have four beautiful daughters, ages 25, 23, and 20 year old twins.  My husband is also a teacher, at Vista Murrieta High School, where he teaches AP US History and US History. My children were all lucky to have attended this amazing school.  When we are not teaching, we love to spend time traveling, going to the beach, reading, exploring, and watching movies. I can always be found with a great book.
