Hello, Lisa J. Mails families!

I’m excited to be teaching 5th grade this year and to continue building strong connections with our students and families. After a rewarding year in 4th grade, I’m eager to continue our journey together—helping students grow, embrace new challenges, and build the skills they’ll carry with them to middle school and beyond.

I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Finance, from Sonoma State University, and have expanded my education through advanced studies at National University. Before teaching, I worked in the financial sector, where I developed strong skills in communication, organization, and problem-solving—skills I now apply daily in the classroom.

My teaching philosophy is simple: strong relationships build strong learners. I believe education thrives when trust and mutual respect are at the heart of the classroom. My goal is to ensure every student feels seen, supported, and challenged to reach their highest potential—both academically and personally.
